What is high potential and gifted education?
High potential and gifted education (HPGE) is how our school supports students with advanced learning needs.
We do this through:
- effective teaching strategies like enrichment, extension and acceleration
- tailored support during lessons that stretch, challenge and inspire
- access to a wide range of opportunities both within and beyond our school.

Careers Expo
Our annual Careers Expo encourages students to consider their options and gives them the chance to explore and ask questions to experts in various fields.
Australian Olympic Changemaker Award
Ruby A attended the National Summit after being nominated as an Olympic Change - Maker. This award is for students who have shown leadership, positivity and kindness in sport as Ruby has consistently shown in her commitment across many sporting teams in her time at BWB and SSCL Leichhardt . The event brought together nominees from NSW and the ACT and were audience to a panel with a number of Olympians
